Job Description:
Our organization is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work with a family in Springfield, NC. He/She will implement and maintain positive behavior support interventions and techniques with a student population with emotional/behavioral disabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate will receive 10 hours per week during after school hours and will find great joy in working with school-aged children. The candidate will also be provided training and be provided with paid certification to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting data collection for each session
- Implementing behavior-based treatment plans
-Ensuring safety and quality care for the children and families
- Building professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
- Maintaining training materials and supplies
- Cleaning up after sessions, maintaining data collection materials, and reporting problems/incidents to management.
- Adhering to dress and grooming policies (i.e., no jewelry, no baggy clothing)
- Performing other duties as assigned (i.e., picking up after clients, picking up trash)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; no experience required - Reliable transportation required - Valid driver's license required - Ability to lift 30 lbs. from start to finish on a regular basis - Strong communication skills (verbal & written) - CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required - Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred but not required but not required we are willing to train!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
