What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Regional Facilities position at Our Company?
We are currently looking for a Regional Facilities Manager for our Distribution Centers in Texas (Houston and Dallas)
The overall objective of this position is to manage and support physical, financial, administration, and compliance of Rooms to Go facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, Organize, and Direct facility tasks
- Monitor project status, workflow, and performs other related work as required
- Manages all activities related to the maintenance of the physical plant which includes but not limited to painting, grounds work, drywall, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs/upgrades as necessary
- Coordinate and work with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Responsible to manage associates that report to Facilities in their region. Responsible for all Distribution structures in their region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or minimum of 4 years in multi project management of commercial/industrial projects including negotiating multiple maintenance contracts plus 3 years energy & environmental compliance experience
- Must have excellent & proven leadership, interpersonal & communication skills, including ability to administer & manage department's construction, electrical, Energy & Contract Administration personnel
- Must have ability to work effectively with all levels of management
- This position requires travel between Rooms To Go Distribution Centers & Stores in the state of Texas
- Must have demonstrated safety awareness in all aspects of the construction trades
