Homeroom Teacher: Primary Grades Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a PreSchool-8 school in the San Francisco Archdiocese. Job Description: The school community is seeking a qualified Homeroom Teacher for primary grades for the 2024-2025 school year. As the homeroom teacher, the applicant will be required to teach English and reading, social science, science, math, and religion. Collaborating teachers teach Spanish, music, art, and physical education to the students.

Candidates must possess or be working toward: ● A Bachelor’s degree ● A valid California Teaching credential* (or a reciprocal credential from another state) *If the candidate does not yet possess a valid California teaching credential, (s)he must acquire one within five years of the date of hire. Strong candidates will have the following skills & experience: ● 1-5 years teaching elementary age children ● Effective classroom management ● Exemplary professionalism, flexibility, can-do spirit, empathy, and care in collaboration with colleagues ● Demonstrated effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues. ● Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment and to integrate technology on a daily basis ● Commitment to excellence and rigor ● Respect for the mission of Catholic education and social justice

Employment specifics: Salary: $56,900-$127,250 Base range (Advanced Education & Certifications not included) Start date: August 2024 End date: June 2025 Position reports to: Principal Position type: Full-time, exempt, with benefits
