The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in all operations of an Our Mom’s Restaurant while exhibiting leadership and direction to the Front of House (FOH) team. The AGM must have the ability to lead a high volume, food focused restaurant through detailed knowledge of Our Mom’s systems and standards, guest hospitality, team management, and leadership. He or she must be able to excel in a culture driven environment with the highest operating standards. The AGM must promote a fun and welcoming work environment through positive reinforcement and teamwork. The AGM must be able to motivate, coach, teach, develop, and inspire all team members to provide each guest with a memorable experience. The AGM must have the ability to build sales and maximize financial success through in-store marketing, controlled inventory costs, and labor costs.
Job Duties:
Ensure proper staffing levels by recruiting and interviewing talented team member following company guidelines.

Ensures guest satisfaction by monitoring beverage and food quality and service standards through guest interactions
Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, developing, and counseling team.
Responsible for all ATC, local, and state government requirements and regulations
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility by adhering to Our Mom’s safety and sanitation guidelines
Responsible for creating a career path for all hourly members through coaching, setting goals, and honest feedback.
Responsible for demonstrating Our Mom’s identity in appearance, demeanor, values, and ethics.

Position Specific Areas of Responsibility
Manages FOH team members, including scheduling, performance feedback, and discipline.
Responsible for weekly inventory of all Our Mom’s uniforms and retail items.
Responsible for ordering of all Our Mom’s uniforms and retail items
Responsible for weekly inventory of all FOH smallwares, i.e., forks, knives, cups, app plates, etc. .
Responsible for creating weekly server and host schedules.
Responsible for validating all FOH team members have all necessary permits pertaining to BWL service (ATC/ABO/Bar Card)
Responsible for the training and development of server and host teams.
Ensures all new menu materials or information is relayed to the FOH team by designated time.
Ensures all server and host paperwork is available and in use, i.e., recipe specs, opening and closing duties, study guides, etc.
Responsible for driving profitability by controlling labor and being aware of sales goals and minimizing waste.
Responsible for creating a career path for all hourly members through coaching, setting goals, and honest feedback
Creates daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals based on business performance.
Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly labor projections based on business performance.
Meets restaurant financial objectives by preparing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets while also analyzing variances and monitoring financial controls.
Attracts customers by working with management to develop and implement marketing and advertising programs.
