Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your expertise in color theory and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring high-quality results. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Prime surfaces as needed
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensure even coverage and smooth finish
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Solid knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Proficient in using painting tools and equipment - Must know how to use a paint sprayer
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong understanding of color theory and the ability to mix colors accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
