Title: Marketing Operations, Sr. Associate

 
Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a traffic controller and project coordinator of multi-channel marketing engagements by serving as a liaison between marketing team members and the organization’s service delivery stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be passionate about marketing, organization, and process creation. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain team-wide marketing knowledge (digital, content, creative, media, events, business development), take on significant operational responsibility, and make a meaningful impact on team productivity and marketing return on investment (ROI).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational support of the Marketing & Communications leadership team to include:
  • Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of campaigns and coordination with business objectives and continuously monitor the overall content production schedule within a project management system.
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants to ensure service agreements are met and communicate issues that impact schedule and budget to internal leadership team.
  • Advance the production of various marketing products such as blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, and digital advertising.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and generate reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing metrics.
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of marketing assets making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and website content.
  • Organize and participate in meetings and webinars, documenting action items, and provide follow-up communication.
  • Provide cross functional internal customer service, resolving any complaints or requests professionally.
  • Recognize, communicate, and act upon opportunities for marketing to be further integrated into other business processes.
  • Document, maintain, and manage all marketing policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Lead special projects such as team offsite meetings, recognition programs, and internal communications efforts.
  • rite correspondences, draft presentations, create quotes, and agreements from templates. 
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget by tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Make light travel arrangements, complete monthly expense reports, and provide administrative support as required.
  • Always be learning, innovating, creating, and reaching for new ways to engage people in our mission.
  • Supporting on-site events with an ability to travel 2-3 weeks each year.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAOs):
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in marketing coordination, or similar role.
  • Demonstratable experience managing email marketing systems and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience building and operationalizing processes and procedures.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of software such as Asana and Canva.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Highly organized with superior attention to detail, natural curiosity, a passion for excellence and process improvements, and a willingness and interest in learning new technologies.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and motivated.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or another business related major; degree may be substituted for an equivalent amount of experience.

Salary:
    • Typical hiring range for high cost of living locations (DC/CA/NYC): $64,006 - $85,341 
    • Typical hiring range for all other locations: $54,405.10 - $72,539.85

Required Travel: 10%
