Position Overview:


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analyst (FP&A) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting decision-making processes by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including but not limited to revenue analysis, expense analysis, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by collaborating with department heads and senior management. Monitor budget performance and provide timely updates to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support scenario analysis, and business planning. Evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives and provide recommendations to optimize outcomes.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas of concern. Provide insightful commentary and analysis to aid in decision-making.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with business units to develop action plans to address performance gaps and drive operational efficiency.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from senior management and other stakeholders. Conduct special projects and analyses as needed to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
  • Financial Planning Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial planning processes and tools. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial planning and analysis activities.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
