OUTSIDE Accounting is a fast paced, dynamic team in need of a knowledgeable Staff Accountant.
Within 1 month, you will:
- Start to learn about Outside and what we do.
- Prepare fixed asset journal entries complete bank reconciliations
- You will interact with all levels of management and work within a team of several talented individuals.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Reconcile and analyze assigned balance sheet & income statement accounts, preparing necessary workpapers ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of the general ledger
- Evaluate and offer suggestions to process improvements to help shorten the month end close process
- Assist in preparation of audit and tax schedules.
Within 12 months, you will:
- Take on additional responsibilities
- Cross train on all accounting functions and modules.
- Assist with researching variances for monthly financial analysis.
- Compose ad hoc reports and/or spreadsheets as requested by management
What YOU bring to Outside: (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year work experience
- Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and GAAP
- Understanding of and experience in accounting for all transactions in every accounting cycle
- NetSuite and SalesForce experience a plus
- Awesome excel skills- Pivot tables and vlookups are a plus

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $65,000 to $75,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission . Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
