Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring their desktop systems and software are functioning efficiently. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, software, and peripherals - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and software applications - Set up and configure network connections, including TCP/IP and Active Directory - Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner - Collaborate with IT team members to implement system upgrades and improvements - Conduct hardware and software inventory management - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and patches - Document technical procedures and create user guides as needed Requirements: - Proven experience in desktop support or a related technical role - Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and software troubleshooting - Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and Active Directory - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users - Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide efficient solutions

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
