Project Manager/Material Procurement

Job Summary:

Overhead Fire Protection is a locally owned and operated fire life safety company in business since 1979. We are seeking a new addition to our team!

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of successful construction industry experience
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and management principles
• In-depth understating of general construction flow/progress on a jobsite
• Understating of fire sprinkler industry material
• Understating of fire sprinkler system installation
• Ability to read and understand fire sprinkler installation drawings
• Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills
• Knowledge of construction management software including: Procore, Office365, Bluebeam, Adobe
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Manage Procore software to ensure project documentation is continually up to date
• Review and approve fabrication listing and material orders in depth to ensure the correct material is being ordered and arrives on site at the proper time
• Monitor stock to timely handle shorts and inadequacies
• Review construction contract documents and collaborate with design and construction team to ensure design and install objective are meet
• Continually monitor progress on projects and review report to ensure compliance with schedule and material guidelines
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement efforts as it relates to all facets of the position
• Perform other duties as assigned
