Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the OTE operations team to coordinate hotel and travel fueling needs.
- Work in collaboration with the food service staff on menu/meal development, presentation, food standards, food demo’s, meal compliance and athlete interaction.
- Data tracking and analysis within our athlete management system
- Develop creative resources (Canva/Social Media Platforms) to educate players, coaches and staff
- Provide nutrition counseling
- Assist with game day fueling
- Manage the Gatorade & satellite apartment fueling stations: stocking, purchasing, organizing, distribution & inventory
- Assist with body composition, hydration and biomarker testing
- Other duties as assigned by the sports dietitian
Required Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in dietetics/nutrition
- Minimum of six-months - one year experience in collegiate or professional sports nutrition environment
- Must be a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Georgia or obtain credentials within 6 months of being hired.
- Experience with food service
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with colleagues, sport coaches and athletes
- Demonstrates high energy, charismatic training approach
- Highly organized, superior time management abilities, ability to multitask and carry out tasks with minimal supervision
- Adaptable and flexible to a dynamic training and work environment
- Passionate and positive attitude
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate business requirements which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- Ability to lift, carry or push at least 50-75 lbs.
