Production Technician

Posting Close Date: 04/07/2022 Ovintiv’s Bakken Operations Team has a current opportunity for a Production Technician. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, this person will provide support to the Superintendent, Production Coordinators and Field Operations Personnel while working cohesively with all other field support disciplines. The position is based in the Bakken Operators Field Office near Arnegard, North Dakota. The candidate’s workday will consist of 8.5 hours during a work week with every first and third Friday off. Responsibilities Create and manage monthly Lease Operating Expense report and organize month end field accrual review. Point of contact for vendor billing set up, correcting of errors and training vendors in Open Ticket/Open Invoice. Review electronic invoices looking for coding errors, discrepancies then direct Open Invoice and Open Ticket submissions to appropriate field approvers. Send and receive USPS, UPS and FedEx mail and packages. Manage office logistics and maintain office and kitchen supply ordering. Provide support to Fleet Services through managing fleet lists, unit assignments, fuel card replacement ordering and registration and insurance. Support field team with asset data management system through Asset Panda software. Conference room administrator. Assist with PLS (People Logistics Services) as needed for onboarding new personnel. Ordering and activation of cell phones, laptops and tablets for personnel. Management of security badges for field employees and vendors. Assist field personnel with scheduling and booking travel. Answer direct phone line calls and permit access to yard. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in bookkeeping and or data processing preferred. Pervious experience in oil and gas operations desirable. Comfortable and proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated problem solver that takes initiative when action is needed. Must be agile and able to pivot activities throughout day as priorities evolve.
