Production Clerk
Job Posting for Production Clerk at Owen Steel Company Inc.
Owen Steel Company Inc. is currently recruiting for a Shop Clerk. Shop Clerk will be responsible for all revisions coming into the shop as well as knowing the location of these revisions. Will be responsible for the printing and distribution of blueprints and tags to shop floor, quality control and management. Shop clerk may also assist outside inspectors when required.
Successful applicant should have excellent computer and organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and communicate effectively. Experience in a steel fabrication environment is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Copy, fax, and file correspondence
- Assist the Purchasing Manager with drawings, releases, etc.
- Input data into Excel spreadsheet
- Track orders and update order records
- Perform other duties and assist other departments as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess basic knowledge in office administration or another related field
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent
