What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse level B position at OWENS CORNING?
We are excited that you are interested in a position at Owens Corning Delmar!
As a Forklift Operator at our facility, you will be working with a small team that transports and stores our finished products in our onsite warehouse.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Line Puller: receives the material off the operations floor in the forklift, stages it for our warehouse or for the truck to go to our outside warehouse
- Loader: uses an RF system for the orders, picks up the product in the forklift and places the product on a truck to service our customers
- Safely operate seated forklifts
- Ensures our products meet quality standards
- Meets shipping deadlines based on customer orders
Skills and Abilities:
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be able to secure and maintain a forklift driver’s license
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Must have a strong safety mindset
Shift Schedule:
- 7pm-7am (3 nights on)
- 3 nights off
Environment:
- Standard warehouse environment
- Non-climate controlled (forklifts do have heaters)
Pay Rate:
- Night shift: $24.23
- Overtime pay received for hours worked outside of scheduled shift
- Differential pay received for hours worked on Sundays (scheduled or unscheduled)
- Holiday pay

Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years’ experience with Propane powered sit-down forklifts
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Available to work rotating shifts
