Position Summary
OWL Services has an immediate opening for a fulltime Electrical Estimator. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. If you are looking for a long-term opportunity, please apply to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Able to read/understand blueprints
- Responsible for administration in preparing full estimates for EV Construction Sites
- Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors
- Submits 100% of bids and budgets by the bid deadline
- Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
- Prepares subcontractor bid packages.
- Estimate time, materials and equipment required for job completion
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
Qualifications
- 7 years’ experience as a Senior Estimator
- BS in civil engineering or construction management from an accredited college or university required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
- Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals
- Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented
- Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends when requested
