Business Intelligence Intern

Own, a leading data protection platform, is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to help our organization continue to grow a data driven culture.

In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and expanding Own's Business Intelligence suite of resources and empower our company with the data to make change. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will collaborate closely with members of our Data & Analytics teams, to design, lead, and develop tools and insights for our cross-functional GTM teams while building strong relationships with those consumers.

Program Dates: June 3rd, 2024 - August 16th, 2024

• Develop Business Intelligence dashboards and curated data marts
• Identify areas of improvement within the Business Intelligence Suite
• Support, enable, and guide Own staff as they leverage the Business Intelligence Assets
• Work directly with key stakeholders to build BI products that increase pipeline, decrease churn, and improve the customer experience.

• Generally 4 year Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, CS or Finance degree with 1-2 years of professional experience
• Clear Verbal and Written Communicator
• Hands on experience working within Relational Databases (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft SQL) is a plus
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools is desirable
• Ability to manage tasks

The Own Company Emerging Talent Program is a paid, 10-week learning experience in which interns collaborate closely on company projects and initiatives in their respective professional areas of interest. Interns also work in teams throughout the summer on a specific project, which is presented to our senior leadership team at the end of the summer.

This role will require you to work from our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office to maximize collaboration and interaction with the marketing team. Travel to events may be required.
