We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of landscape construction projects. The Landscape Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications that meet client requirements and budgetary constraints.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction, including site preparation, excavation, pool installation, landscaping, and outdoor amenities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, motivating and supporting project team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Expectations of Duties:
- Participate in meetings regarding Enhancements, Sales, Estimation, and Project Management coordination.
- Attend Administration meetings and Pool Operations meetings as needed.
- Update 2-week dispatch and grease board.
- Manage daily dispatch, ensuring communication of any changes and adherence to labor costs and project schedules.
- Coordinate dispatch of equipment between worksites and for maintenance purposes.
- Lead safety committee, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed on job sites.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and Field supervisors, facilitating efficient communication and following up on instructions.
- Perform administrative duties including time card verification, site security, and project coordination.
- Conduct regular job site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Design installation plans for crews and work with the Sales/Design team to ensure quality and accurate production rates.
- Supervise, interview, hire, train, discipline, evaluate, motivate, and recognize subordinate employees.
- Provide excellent service to clients, work-site partners, and company staff courteously and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in Landscape Construction or construction management.
- GED or High School Diploma or higher preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Valid CA driver's license.
- US work authorization.
Additional Details:
- This is a full-time, in-field and in-office position.
- Work locations vary primarily between Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate across all departments.
- Experience in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field a plus.
- Equipment used includes company car, company cell phone, laptop and/or iPad, excavators, skid steers, loaders, or general construction and landscaping tools.
Essential Physical Tasks:
- Frequently sit for extended periods.
- Stand and walk or crouch on uneven surfaces and may occasionally be required to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
- Work is performed in outdoor environments; some exposure to varying temperatures; exposure to dust, steam, controlled and hazardous substances, pesticides, herbicides, gases, and chemicals; working around electrical current and moving machinery parts; regular contact with staff and the public.
- Stooping, kneeling, bending to pick up or move objects, office equipment, plants, or tools.
- Physical ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Hearing and vision to normal range.
- Verbal communication.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
