They are beginning a hiring push to grow the size of their space vehicles team in Arvada, CO and are looking to add an Software Design Engineer to a team that looks to double in size:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- 5 years of experience in designing and dveloping software in an embedded real-time environment
- Experience with C, C , Python or similar languages.
- Self-Starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and can communicate effectively.
- Design and implement software simulators used in automated testing
- Design and implement real-time embedded software utilized in the Spacecraft Buses
- Perform software unit testing
- Review and provide feedback on software requirements
- Direct interfacing to space vehicle hardware
- Work with internal team members to solve complex software and system issues
- Work with fellow software engineers in the Agile development environment
