What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher position at Oxford Consulting Services, Inc.?
Oxford Consulting Services is looking for a Special Education Teacher to provide K-12 school-based services. Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each students goals and needs.

Job Details
- Develop appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in conjunction with State Standards
- Work closely with school leaders and members of the special education department to assess student data to gauge student progress
- Collaborate with teams to discuss student work, share best practices and ensure student performance gains
- Engage with families and appropriate staff regarding the students education by building professional relationships and maintaining frequent communication.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree, required
- Minimum of one year of experience working with special education children in an academic environment, required
- Current California teaching license in Special Education with a Moderate/Severe Disabilities endorsement, required
- Current resident of California
- Determination to drive student engagement and set high expectations for all students
- Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
