Oxford’s client is looking for multiple resources to support a multi-year project in which they are migrating their legacy billing system to a new platform. The current project is within its first year and the manager foresees at least two more years until the project is completed.
This person will support the client’s back-end team and will work with the development team to migrate data to the new platform. Candidates will also be responsible for supporting their existing web applications, day-to-day production needs as they arise, and future projects the client needs to complete.
The client runs a standard SQL back-end and uses AWS for their cloud provider. They are looking for someone who is hands on with Java and J2EE and prefers paired programming. This role will be on-site 4 days a week, and candidates will have flexibility on which day they work from home.
