Position Summary
Oxford Global Resources is seeking a full-time entry level Junior Data Analyst to work on the Business Intelligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates with strong analytical mindset and aspirations to work in data. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the enterprise by creating analytical reports, troubleshooting data infrastructure problems, and communicating data insights to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide ad-hoc support for all business intelligence reports, processes, and other data-related inquiries to internal stakeholders using user support ticket system
- Prepare and present demonstrations in a clear, concise, and effective manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Perform quality assurance testing on reports and SQL programs by understanding requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data, creating test plans, and executing test plans.
- Query the data warehouse through use of custom SQL queries
- Design, document, and maintain data system processes
- Identify opportunities to improve/optimize current data warehouse workflow process, platform effectiveness, and overall data infrastructure
- Own end-to-end project management including documentation of requirements, solution recommendations and implementation.
- Perform root cause analyses for data warehouse and ETL challenges as they arise
- Serve as a data liaison between departments
- Build dashboards using Tableau and/or PowerBI if needed
- All other duties as assigned

Experience
- SQL proficiency preferred
- Data warehousing proficiency preferred
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data preferred
Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Management, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
