What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at OXFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS?

or
.5 FTE School Psychologist - Oxford High School
Qualifications:

  • Must have certification as School Psychologist (070) or be certified as a Pscyhologist (District will work with State Department of Education for Emergency Durational Certificate)
  • Assesses the clinical needs of students with social/emotional/behavioral concerns
  • Completes assessments as observations as necessary
  • Develops and implements therapeutic counseling for groups and individuals
  • Facilitates all PPT meetings
  • Coordinates and facilities 504 meetings
  • Participates as a member of the RTI team and provides consultative services for staff and families
  • Previous experience in the public school setting preferred
  • Comfortable presenting data to teachers, administrators, and Board of Education
  • Other duties as determined by the administration
