Responsibilities
- Provide engineering leadership in plant electrical support, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and equipment.
- Work hands-on with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
- Perform minor program modifications and software updates as needed.
- Actively assist the maintenance team with onsite troubleshooting and support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical engineering activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- AS or higher Electrical Engineering Technology degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- PLC and VFD software applications; Allen Bradley programming experience preferred.
- Proficiency in PLCs, operator interfaces, and VFDs.
- AUTOCAD Electrical software knowledge
- Panel building experience
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and how they apply to automation
- Automation or robotics experience a plus
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to travel within U.S. to support additional plants
