POSITION SUMMARY: The Valet will be the first to welcome and the last to encourage the return of all guests and visitors of the Oxford Collection of hotels while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards. This position will provide assistance with luggage and transportation needs and connect our customers with distinctively different and unique experiences throughout their stay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.

Transport (60%): This position will enthusiastically welcome guests and anticipate their needs upon arrival and departure. Responsible for parking and retrieving guests’ vehicles as needed. May transport guests (using company vehicle) to and from the airport and other locations.
Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager. - Guest Relations (30%): Extend warmth and hospitality when greeting guests at the hotel entrance, welcoming them to the hotel. Interact and acknowledge guests, provide directions and assistance. Escort guests to rooms, cart guest luggage to and from guestrooms, deliver guest supplies, flowers and packages to guestrooms. Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests.
- Other (10%): Outside maintenance of public areas includes picking up trash in the parking lot, cleaning ashtrays and policing the dumpster area; and maintaining the cleanliness of the Oxford Collection of hotels van.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 years of customer service preferred
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays
- Regular and reliable attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day;
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- An outdoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
- Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
