What you will be doing: The Allocation Analyst is responsible for managing order fill rate that drives sale’s shipping performance for the Home and Outdoor Business through the formulation and execution of effective allocation strategies. The Allocation Analyst is a highly collaborative role and partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams. This position requires excellent analytical skills, relevant business experience, and the ability to work well alone and with a team. Supervise performance across multiple customers to improve in stocks to service our accounts. Daily analysis of the workflow moving to the warehouse for processing. Trouble shoot orders, which do not schedule/allocate to the warehouse for processing. Follow up on PO deliveries and adjust delivery dates (or collaborate with the CSR) as needed to meet our customer’s requirements. Ensure “ship sets” are placed on orders to ensure high fill rates (90 – 95%) to eliminate multiple shipments. Escalate issues to cross functional team members. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions. Pull and summarize data from reporting systems as needed to analyze the business. Work with the manager to define reporting requirements. Own the effort to ensure that the “unscheduled report” is done daily. Review the EDI Ops multiple times throughout the day. Collaborate with supply on fill rate first pass for our key accounts. Serves as back-up to other Customer Service Representatives in the department. Reviews customer requirements, enters EDI or manual orders, communicates with the warehouse on shipping requirements, etc. Communicates fulfillment issues with the customer. Collaborates with supply, sales, and warehouse on fulfillment. Track performance of the account: fill rate first pass, timely delivery, non-compliance as a percentage of sales, etc. Skills needed to be successful in this role: Strong math/analytical skills Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written English skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A strong interest in building a culture of trust, integrity, and performance. Desire to bring creative and out-of-the box ideas to a dynamic international organization. Highly organized with ability to support multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines – sometimes competing – in a dynamic environment. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 5 years customer service experience 3-5 years of Oracle experience Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
