Fall Opening for District Wide School Nurse (RN) or LPN
The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a School Nurse (RN) or LPN to support overall district healthcare needs.
The school district is determining student needs and district needs and will consider those who have a license as a RN or LPN. Specific experience in pediatrics will be given preference. Require strong clinical and assessment skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support students, families and staff, have the ability to take initiative and make important decisions, collaborate as a member of the Health Office Department, provide training and consultation, possess strong oral and written communication, able to manage challenging situations and emergencies, promote student health, be grounded in ethical and evidence-based practices, be a bridge between health care and education, communicate with outside providers, and coordinate care.
