Position Summary
A board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) is a health care practitioner certified in applied behavior analysis (ABA) who strives to influence people's behaviors. Many BCBAs specialize in areas like autism, developmental disabilities or mental health issues. The BCBA (board-certified behavior analyst) is primarily responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior plans based on these assessments. The BCBA is to ensure the effective implementation of all treatment plans and programming for their clients on their caseload.
