Refurbishment Technician

Job Title: Refurbishment Technician Status: Full time

Wage: $20.00 hourly to start, potential increase after 90-day evaluation to $22.00

Summary:
Under limited supervision conducts evaluation, disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and final re-assembly of Ozone International products using established procedures. The incumbent will replace and repair faulty and defective components found upon inspection of products to include but is not limited to, ozone generators, water pumps, and air compressors. Basic electrical knowledge is preferred but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of basic mechanical and power tools.
• Safe operation of ultra-sonic bath used for cleaning components.
• Properly document all findings as required and directed by departmental procedures.
• In the absence of established procedures, consult with Manufacturing to create new documents.
• Calibration of instruments according to specifications.
• Identify and initiate changes to procedure documents.
• Document information for future reference and analysis.
• As required, support Manufacturing testing and quality control testing.
• As directed by management, test and troubleshoot refurbished equipment.
• Maintain and create (as required) written or video instruction (including troubleshooting and data collection guide) for all models.
• Perform proper document control.
• Obtain proficiency in MS Business Central.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Experience
High School Diploma

Language Ability
Ability to speak and read English, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, and technical procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups of management and co-workers of organization.

Math Ability
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products. Proficiency with email required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
