Position Overview
This position is responsible for utilizing the sales information system to monitor current accounts and to solicit new customers to further account support.
Responsibilities
Liaise between management and customer
Generate business through calling and visiting manufacturing plants and suppliers across Southern California. Maintaining, and developing the existing client portfolio of the group, with a strong focus on, (aluminum scrap and additional material includes copper, brass etc.)
Familiarize and develop your skills with various commercial/technical aspects of the role
Proper collection and allocation of sales and shipping documents
Improve knowledge of the scrap metal industry and steadily develop commercial skills to increase responsibilities over time
Excellent communication skills, ability to display team-player qualities as well as working autonomously to help drive business growth for the group
Key Qualifications / Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a related field within the within metals (scrap, aluminum, copper, brass, nickel, zinc, steel etc.)
Experience in a commercial, analytical, or operational role with a strong sales personality and drive to grow within the metals space
Good technical knowledge and understanding of various trade techniques
Requirements
2 years of experience in related field
Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft, especially Excel)
Ability to learn, comprehend and apply new concept quickly
Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customer

Pay: From $40,000.00-60000.00 Commission
