Position Summary: Oversees all gaming operations to ensure compliance and profitability.

1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #PositiveLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
2. Hires, motivates, trains, coaches, mentors, and directs staff to ensure that Team Members receive leadership, guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
3. Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
4. Establishes department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
5. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
6. Positively affects interactions with guests and employees and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
7. Manages the regional day to day operations of the Gaming Operations department; which includes , Gaming Shift Managers, Gaming Supervisors, and HHR Attendants.
8. Responsible for recruiting, training and scheduling the Gaming Operations Department.
9. Knowledgeable of all rules and regulations
10. Develops and maintains departmental internal controls and standard operating procedures.
11. Provides detailed reports on current, short- and long-range departmental goals and objectives.
12. Ensures all gaming operations regulations are strictly adhered to and that any new procedure is distributed and followed accordingly.
13. Ensures that all HHR machines are functioning properly and are available for play of guests.
14. Takes appropriate action based on observations, as directed or established by the company policy, procedures or regulations.
15. Determines work procedures, oversees work schedules, and expedites workflow; studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HHR operations.
16. Issues written and oral instructions; assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to HHR operation policies and procedures.
17. Performs, or assists subordinates in performing, duties; adjusts errors and complaints.
18. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the VP Of Operations.
19. Develops effective working relationships and positive customer service skills with all guests and fellow employees.
20. Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent required plus four years’ experience as a Gaming Shift Manager or a minimum of one year of experience as a Gaming Operations Manager in a high volume, complex gaming environment. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with word processing and spreadsheet software required. Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.
Travel: This position will require regional travel throughout the locations as needed.
Work Environment:The noise level is loud when on the gaming floor. Candidate will be exposed to smoke when on the gaming floor. Confidentiality and gaming experience are a must.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May manage subordinates who may supervise employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit(s).
