We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a DR-Vehicle Acquisition Director. In this role, you will be responsible for vehicle acquisitions that are generated from our customer database, service department and our digital retail acquisition lead sources. The DR-Vehicle Acquisition Director will play a critical role in identifying and procuring vehicles that align with our business goals, while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. The right individual will be proficient in appraising vehicles and communicating with customers via phone, email and text. Vauto and Vin Solutions experience is an added bonus but not required. Time management and Self-Motivation is a must.
Responsibilities
· Set up a process to look for and acquire good used vehicles from our multiple service drives at all locations.
· Work with customers requesting values for their vehicles via KBB and other trade in avenues digitally.
· Set appointments and meet with customers to acquire their vehicles.
· Manage the entire vehicle acquisition process, from initial contact of the customer, appraising their vehicle and finalizing all paperwork.
· Collaborate with various departments within the company, such as dr, sales, marketing, and reconditioning department to ensure the efficient integration of new vehicles into our business operations.
Requirements
· Valid DL
· Proven experience as a Vehicle Acquisition Director or a similar role within the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
· Ability to appraise vehicles.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and sales teams.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
· Proficiency in using data analysis tools and automotive software.
