The Group Sales Account Executive will be placed within the athletic department at the University of Washington and will have the responsibility of growing and developing group-related business (as well as other ticket revenue and gifts) under the supervision of the Pac-12 Sales Senior Director of Ticket Sales and Groups Sales Director.

Core responsibilities:
  • Prospect, identify, secure, and grow renewing and new group sales business in order to achieve ticket and revenue objectives
  • Build a group base and fill UW venues with group buyers for all ticketed sports at the University of Washington by maximizing phone, in-person, and virtual meeting and relationship-building opportunities
  • Creatively and aggressively build and execute group theme nights across multiple ticketed sports
  • Ability to work with fans and donors across all ticketing and development needs, cross-selling season tickets, partials plans, and gifts were appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Executive team, Retention team, Ticket Operations, Tyee, Marketing, and Facilities to execute and promote events 
  • Meet or exceed daily call, appointment, and activity expectations
  • Provide constant and consistent superior customer service in all interactions with potential and existing ticketing holders and donors
  • Effectively communicate all department ticketed-related happenings accurately
  • Participate in various sales promotions, events, and activities as required
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to CRM activity and account creation/management tracking results and access accurately

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 year of sales-related experience, sports industry preferred
  • Exposure to CRM and ticketing systems
  • High level of accountability to personal and team goals
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team setting as well as in project-based remote settings
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and hours as events and games require
  • Perform other duties as assigned
