Requisition Summary
Utilize your sales, analytical and customer service skills supporting the PACCAR Parts Peterbilt Sales team. Identify and process unpublished Bulk Sales opportunities, obtain exception price quotes via suppliers, and manage open order communication for Sales Team with key internal departments and Dealers. Perform Sales Analysis using FOCUS, Tableau and Online Parts Counter to generate Sales Gap Reports for District Parts Managers and Dealers. Provide customer service to Dealers, District Parts Managers and Peterbilt Field Service personnel acting as the key liaison for TCS365 case management with Critical Orders and Truck Down. Enhance sales and presentation skills preparing Dealer Review presentation materials for use by District, Region and National Sales Managers.
This position provides key exposure to and experience with Peterbilt dealers and the Peterbilt Sales Team to prepare for a career in Sales.
The Inside Sales Specialist is based out of Renton, WA.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Analyze sales and inventory data to identify, close and process unpublished bulk sales opportunities with dealers and suppliers.
- Triangulate market intelligence to request, process and close exception price quotes with suppliers.
- Combine sales, marketing and inventory data using technology tools including FOCUS, Tableau and Online Parts Counter to identify lost sales and sales opportunities.
- Assess dealership sales performance using internal sales reports, dealer retail reports and market data for performance enhancement opportunities.
- Review territory maps and sales data to gauge individual sales personnel performance.
- Manage key communication on open orders with all stakeholders, including dealers, suppliers, Product Marketing and sales staff.
- Review and manage active TCS365 cases to provide regular updates and follow up with Critical Orders and Truck Down departments for Peterbilt District Parts Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Peterbilt Field Service staff.
- Prepare Dealer specific sales presentations for use by District Parts Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
- Work with all levels of management to provide insight on current market conditions and sales opportunities.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc sales reports for Sales Managers, Dealers and staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Two years industry experience, including dealer/customer facing responsibilities preferred.
- Proven skills assembling, interpreting and acting on marketing, sales and/or inventory data.
- Understanding of heavy-duty dealership operations.
- Advanced PC skills with Microsoft products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Composure when confronted with ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain customer focus while troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.

Salary Range: At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $75,100.00 - $103,730.00 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
