SUMMARY : The Courier Dispatch Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring efficient coordination, and driving continuous improvement within the logistics department.

- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Oversee and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse and distribution center operations for efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Implement effective inventory control measures, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency initiatives to enhance overall logistics performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on logistics performance.
- Implement corrective actions to address deviations from performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for shipments, inventory, and other logistics activities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a closely related field; AND five (3) years of professional experience in logistics management;
OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
