What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager I position at Pace Analytical Services, LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the primary point of contact to clients regarding project updates, issues, deliverables, scope changes, and follow -ups.
- Maintains equipment database regarding open projects, client information, equipment location, contract statues, service history and cost.
- Generates client and department reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reviews dashboards/open projects to keep project moving and to meet deadlines.
- Assists with developing or participating in project management or cross-functional project or program objectives, which includes proposed budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, receives direction, and presents information to management.
- Following Pace policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Promoting cooperation and teamwork among staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in project management, chemistry, or a closely related field; AND at least five (5) years of experience, including experience with specialized or technical programs or operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required Skills:
- The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hardworking, and able to work independently with an eye for attention to detail.
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Physical requirements include, walking, bending, and carrying. Must also have hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Current and applicable computer skills.
