Financial Planning and Analyst Manager

Overview

PACE Supply Corp is seeking a Financial Planning and Analyst Manager to join our dynamic Accounting Team in Rohnert Park, CA. 

Responsibilities

This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be participating in building the Company’s monthly financial forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Financial & Trend Analysis

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Analysis of potential acquisition targets

Process Improvement

• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, new location or product rollouts as well as new projects
• Develop FPA department and staffing needs

Reporting and Metrics

• Create easily understandable reports, whether detailed or at a high level
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial reports
• Implement and work with dashboard reports to management

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance5 years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis

Distribution experience preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.

Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated

Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

Preferred knowledge of Tagetik Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels in the organization.

Ideal Qualifications would also include

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceDistribution experience preferred

Preferred knowledge of Tagetik

Work Environment

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
