OVERVIEW
The Busser ensures a clean, organized, and efficient dining area by wiping down tables, setting tables, and removing soiled dishes, glasses, and silverware. The busser maintains clean walkways, common areas, restrooms, and wait stations. The Busser provides any necessary support to servers and bartenders to ensure prompt and friendly service.

SCHEDULE
This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Must have a valid California Food Handler Card
- Must have a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification (RBS)
- Punctual, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Highly reliable, responsible, honest and focused on supporting the team at all times

- Adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritize and manage a large section
- Openness to constructive feedback and being coached and mentored

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSSER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with Guests. Respond to questions—know where to find information if unknown to you
- Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins), and as needed
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors) at all times
- During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager
- Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any Guests
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- The ideal candidate will have 1 year previous experience in a Busser position, but it is not required
PHYSICAL
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
COMPENSATION
- $17.95 Per Hour
