About our Program: The Neurodevelopmental Services program, currently only providing center-based services, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism. We offer a combination of individual and group ABA services, and our team-based approach allows behavior technicians to work collaboratively with colleagues in group settings providing behavior intervention. NDS prioritizes interventions focused on the development of early social skills, relationship building, and access to social inclusion opportunities to promote core social competencies that can pave the way for positive, fulfilling, and lifelong relationships.
The Position: Psychologist
Clinical
- Provide didactic trainings for clinicians and mental health trainees/interns.
- Provide weekly individual/group supervision with students, including live supervision and fidelity checks, and complete formal evaluations of staff and intern performance.
- Complete comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults including interviewing, administration of assessments, scoring/interpretation, feedback, and report writing.
- Provide direct intervention for clients and caregivers (group and individual intervention).
- Provide and supervise behavior health services providing direct intervention, parent training, staff and intern coaching/fidelity, and necessary coverage for staff and interns.
- Design and submit comprehensive treatment plans for clients that are culturally relevant, family-focused, and socially significant, that are in compliance with agency and payor timelines.
- Proactively identify potential conflicts; lead parties to consensus and develop same skill in direct reports.
- Ensure and monitor defined outcomes achievement for consumers, as well as satisfaction level for clients, and referring workers and agencies.
- Ensure effective coordination of services for customers with other providers, both internal and external, by supporting the development of constructive relationships and problem-solving barriers.
Administrative
- Hire, train (on-boarding and on-going), and maintain overall performance management (e.g., data collection, fidelity, completion of time sheet, documentation, etc.) of behavioral health staff and trainees.
- Ensure weekly productivity is met for self, direct reports, and students by working collaboratively with the Client Services Department. Meet deadlines associated with scheduling business process.
- Manage performance of direct reports, timecards, attendance, and service quality.
- Participate in organizational quality improvement efforts. Lead and/or delegate work groups to respond to program development needs.
- Ensure clinical documentation and quality assurance meets both agency and payor standards, ensuring audit ready charts and continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in necessary committees within the agency, as well as doctoral universities, to ensure compliance and implementation of standardized internship trainee programs.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology
- Two (2) years of experience providing neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations (e.g., competent in administration, scoring, and writing reports using cognitive, developmental, behavior, social, and adaptive evaluation tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Licensing and Certification Requirements:
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California.
- Completion of Board of Psychology Training Requirements to provide Clinical Supervision for interns/practicum trainees.
Other Specific Requirements
- Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance, if applicable.
- Valid California Driver's license with two years experience driving and clean driving record may be required.
