Description
Manager: Shop Manager
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am – 3:30pm Overtime in addition if needed by manager
Responsibilities/Duties:
Communication:
- Perform a morning, lunch, and end of day check-in with manager
- Attend maintenance meetings
- Submit daily time through ipad
- Track tasks and time worked on equipment through E360
- Ability to navigate basic computer and ipad applications
Shop/Yard:
- Maintain a clean shop daily
- Perform close out and lock the yard daily
- Maintain a clean work area and tool box
- Fill cage/shop tool and supply inventories to appropriate levels
- Safely operate a forklift to unload large deliveries
Technician:
- Keep all equipment and engines serviced on schedule
- Basic welding/fabrication for equipment/job parts
- Fill out work orders by due date by type of service
- Perform DOT inspections, identify and perform preventative maintenance
- Use Equipment360 (iPad) inspections accurately
- Create work orders for any identified issues
- Order and stock parts
- Parts cage
- Filters
- Use of approval and purchase order system
Compliance:
- Work with accounting for equipment compliance
- ARB hour collection, E360 maintenance of compliance documents
- Perform weekly inspections of the yard oil storage
Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year automotive/lube tech experience
- Class C drivers license with clean record
- Ability to lift objects in excess of 50lbs, crouch, kneel, stand for extended hours
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical
- Ability to perform maintenance and diagnostic tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication in a team-oriented environment
Additional Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Welding and Fabrication Experience
- Small electrical experience
- Engine repair/advanced repairs experience
- Diesel/Heavy Equipment experience
- Valid commercial drivers license
