Job Duties
- Research, design, plan, or perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines. Work may include waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology.
- Conduct investigation and provide technical assistance for industrial cleaning, waste management in segregation, packing, profiling, transportation and disposal document preparation.
- Conduct onsite air, solid and/or liquid sampling, analyzing, and monitoring under senior environmental scientist's instruction.
- Utilize various onsite analyzing and monitoring equipment, such as PID, 4 gas meter, mercury analyzer, water quality meter, BS&W, and etc.
- Assist senior environmental scientist in drafting reports, such as project summaries, daily production report, analytical reports, and etc.
- Provide technical support and reporting to project managers by preparing engineering, drafting, and calculation for environmental remediation and industrial cleaning projects.
- Be responsible for environmental remediation and waste management planning and overseeing as a licensed Professional Engineer in Environmental.
Job Requirements
- Degree in environmental science and other related field (ie. Chemistry) is required.
- Civil or Environmental Engineering or two years of experience in environmental research or science work is preferred but not required.
