We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with quality control methods, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is desirable
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities
- Experienced and Family in Quality Management System internal and external audit
- Minimum 5 years of direct QA/QC experience in manufacturing industries
- Proficient in conducting Physical Dimensions IAW GD&T standards
- IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Certified Specialist is preferred
- Can interpret Electrical Schematic diagrams, Fab Drawings and Material specifications
- Knowledgeable and experienced in verifying products IAW IPC-6012 Class 2 and Class 3 Fab/PCBA criteria
- Experienced with IPC/WHA-A-620 Requirements verification for Cables & Wire Harness
- Experienced and familiar with MIL-PRF-38534 Screening and Quality Conformance Inspection Requirements for Military and Aerospace industries
- Perform visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards and material specifications
- Conduct dimensional and functional testing using various measurement tools and equipment
- Inspect raw materials and components for defects or irregularities
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality reports
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards
- Generate MRB and/or NCMR report, monitor and verify material status to Quality and Supply Chain Team
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Support Quality and Supply Chain team in addressing Supplier Performance and Scorecard
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process enhancements
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding quality concerns or findings
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance
