What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Manager position at Pacific Glazing Contractors?
PGC is looking for a temporary Safety Manager to be full time on site for a short term construction project starting approximately July 2024. This position has the potential for a long term hire.
Independent Contractors are also welcome to submit proposals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- Writing up near miss accidents and Job Hazard Analysis when appropriate
- Managing safety inventory & budgets
- Work with Human Resources regarding worker's comp claims
- Job Site Visits for safety control to determiningunsafe conditions.
- Extended knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Ensuringstate, local, and federal safety laws are being observed.
- Oversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permits.
- Lead injury and incident inquiries and evaluations. Work with Human Resources regarding worker's comp claims
