Site Safety Manager

PGC is looking for a temporary Safety Manager to be full time on site for a short term construction project starting approximately July 2024. This position has the potential for a long term hire.

Independent Contractors are also welcome to submit proposals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Writing up near miss accidents and Job Hazard Analysis when appropriate
• Managing safety inventory & budgets
• Work with Human Resources regarding worker's comp claims
• Job Site Visits for safety control to determiningunsafe conditions.
• Extended knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
• Ensuringstate, local, and federal safety laws are being observed.
• Oversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permits.
• Lead injury and incident inquiries and evaluations. Work with Human Resources regarding worker's comp claims

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $63,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
