**Job Summary:** We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cheesemonger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in food handling and preparation, to provide exceptional service to our customers. **Responsibilities:** - Assist customers in selecting various types of cheeses based on their preferences - Provide information about different cheese varieties, origins, and flavor profiles - Cut, wrap, and package cheese for customers with precision and care - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cheese counter and storage areas - Collaborate with the kitchen staff for catering orders involving cheese platters - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines - Assist in inventory management and stock rotation **Qualifications:** - Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment - Knowledge of different types of cheeses, their characteristics, and proper storage methods - Proficiency in using knives for cutting and portioning cheese - Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to help customers make informed choices If you are passionate about cheese, have experience in the food industry, and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, we invite you to apply for the Cheesemonger position with us.
