Summary
The Network Technician provides technical support to team members company-wide. Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for assistance from team members experiencing problems with PC’s, network printers, phone systems, and other computer-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
- Provide assistance to team members through the Service Desk.
- Provide local and remote user support and training.
- Configure PC’s – desktops and laptops.
- Configure, deploy, and support network printers.
- Basic first level LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
- Support and maintain Active Directory.
- Maintain user passwords on AS/400 and network.
- Assist in supporting and managing phone system.
- Occasional travel to remote sites.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Required
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of experience supporting networked computers running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Outlook.
- At least two years of experience in the set up and support of laptop and desktop hardware.
- Basic LAN/WAN understanding.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Prior experience with AS/400 and/or phone support system.
Pay Range: $48,654 - $58,385 per year
