What are the responsibilities and job description for the FWS -Theatre Tech position at Pacific University?
Duties will be performed under supervision of technical director & department faculty, will vary, but include the following: construction & painting; hang, focus & maintain lighting equipment; Clean & organize performance spaces; operate power tools, lighting & audio equipment; Acquire & build stage properties; Work as production crew building, running & maintaining department plays & concerts. Work as costume design assistant, perform hand and machine sewing; Assemble, design, maintain, & repair costumes; organize dressing rooms; Take measurements & fit costumes. Looking for students that are creative, artistic and willing to take initiative on Theatre projects.
Excellent typing and computer skills, high attention to detail and organization, reliability, and ability to work with people are desired. As are self-motivation and a willingness to ask questions and learn about our program.
