What you’ll do
- Lead, Collaborate and work cross functional with product managers, data engineers and clients to understand the optimal data schema, build new structures, dimensions, and cloud data infrastructure to power our products and insights to solve our clients’ data needs.
- Lead a team, collaborate on overall data strategy, consult with product, clients, and internal stakeholders to leverage data for results and performance.
- Get your hands dirty with the data, the pipelines, the modeling, and the visualizations to work end-to-end for solutions that truly impact our clients.
- Mine data for ad-hoc requests that help our clients generate revenue and understand their fans and donors.
- Keep abreast, POC and experiment hands on with current data technologies, data science and AI advancements in the data space.
- Interface with clients, internal business stakeholders and product engineering teams to ensure we are delivering impactful value in the data products we launch, and are positioned for the future, ahead of our competition.

- In a fast-moving space, continue to leverage existing and new technologies, improve processes and data quality, and explore data science to use data to predict, personalize and make our products “smarter”.
What to bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years experience in data engineering.
- Advanced level of experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL and building data visualizations, data exports and feeds at scale.
- Great communication skills, the ability to discern business requirements from stakeholder conversations, and the ability to well document/design solutions.
- You thrive in fast-paced agile environments using software development methodologies like Kanban to consistently deliver value to our clients and fans around the world.
- You’re passionate about building solutions that matter and using data to drive decisions, both internal and external.
- A true passion for all things data and a relentless pursuit to find the simplest, fastest way to harness data for our business, our clients, and our fans and be able to execute on it technically.
An Extra “Awesome”
- Strong understanding and experience in the live entertainment industry, especially in college athletics and fundraising.
- Strong understanding of Dimensional Modeling and Data Vault methodologies
- Knowledge/experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data lakes and warehouses.
- Knowledge/experience with ETL tools.
- Strong Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
The approximate base pay range for this position is $190,000 to $205,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
