Packinghouse Christian Academy is accepting resumes for a full-time life/physical science teacher.

Responsibilities:

Teaching a mixture of life and physical sciences at the middle/high school level.
Creating a rich, engaging, and positive class environment in which students will experience science through hands-on learning, collaboration, quality instruction, and real-world application.
Grading exams, tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations, and contacting parents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and schedule interventions.
Ensuring school and state standards are met.
Providing differentiation and extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest/ability in science.

Qualifications:

Requirements are a bachelor's degree (master's and/or CA credential are desired), preferably with a science major and an education emphasis, and the desire to work with students, bringing science to life in a Christian environment.
