Northwest accounting firm is seeking a part-time (20-24 hours) accounting assistant.
Job Responsibilities
- Reconciling bank & general ledger accounts.
- Data input of client expenditures and payroll hours.
- Preparing payroll related tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Efficient & accurate data entry.
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks products.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, projects, and clients.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service oriented
Required education:
- Post high school related courses
Experience:
- Payroll: 2 years (Preferred)
- Quickbooks: 1 year (Preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
