CENTRA Technology, Inc. The Homeland Group provides a range of homeland security and law enforcement intelligence support, risk analysis and modeling, and program management services to Federal, state, and local agencies. We pride ourselves in developing creative, customized, and flexible approaches that meet our clients’ evolving and dynamic needs. and Foreign Investment Risk Analyst to serve on an analytic/policy team within DHS’s Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans. The position researches and analyzes commercial and open source information to contribute to analysis of the risks of foreign investment in the United States.
The candidate will join an existing mixed federal-contractor team of national security analysts specializing in foreign investment risk management, specifically through analysis of the national security risks posed by transactions before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Committee for the Assessment of Foreign Participation in the U.S. Telecommunications Services Sector (informally, Team Telecom).
Position responsibilities include open source research on mergers, investments, and acquisitions, analysis of corporate structures, ownership, and annual reports, and synthesizing information from various sources. To be successful in this role, applicants should be well-organized, have strong research skills, strong writing skills, be detail-oriented, have great time management and interpersonal skills, and be able to act without guidance. The ability to write succinctly and follow established guidance will be paramount.
Strong candidates should also possess a combination of the following:
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources and write analysis using existing templates.
- Experience analyzing corporate due diligence or other commercial transactions.
- Experience skills with SharePoint and MS Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel– including document editing/formatting and template design.
- Familiarity with the missions and structure of DHS.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 3 years minimum with a BA/ 1 years minimum with a MA or other Advanced Degree.
- SECRET Clearance. Ability to obtain DHS Public Trust
