The Republic of Korea (ROK) Strategic Integrator (SI) is responsible for leading a variety full spectrum unit and organizational level DOTMLPF-P analyses to accomplish supporting tasks and adjusting emerging requirements under the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) ROK military CWMD capacity-building program.
The ROK SI serves as the functional conduit between the PAE Training and Management Team, representatives of the Combined Forces Campaign (CFC) Korea, and Host Nation Forces. The ROK SI’s primary responsible for developing all planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) initiatives required for cultivating, modernizing, and sustaining ROK force structures, ongoing training programs, and operational capabilities necessary to strengthen US interoperability to counter WMD threats. The ROK SI develops strategic plans and evaluation criteria supporting the integration of plans, programs, and resources to sustain newly developed ROK military capabilities as aligned with the operational campaign plans. Coordinates with various strategic planning staff and general staff counterparts at DoD, DOE, ROK JCS, and ROK MND levels in developing strategic decision materials for CFC and ROK Senior leadership. Manages the feedback process, develops timetables and milestones, prepares briefings and correspondence, and distributes command doctrine and organizational guidance on the strategic planning process. Other strategic planning tasks include researching and preparing data for management decision-making; assisting in developing an overall change strategy; conducting change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of organizational changes; and preparing contractual deliverables in accordance with deliverable schedule.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a technical, business management, logistics, operations, or policy-related field.
- Must be able to work independently with limited oversight and function effectively as part of a team.
- Extensive experience engaging and advising US and foreign military senior leaders on the integration of near, mid, and long-term strategic plans, programs, and resources
- Expert in oral and written communications
- Expertise with Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
